University Park Estates is a residential neighborhood in east Long Beach, just north of Marina Pacifica and Belmont Beach. Named for its proximity to California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), the neighborhood is known locally as “The Hole” due to the steep drop at the Margo Avenue entrance to the neighborhood.
