NFL star Aaron Rodgers has listed his Green Bay, Wisconsin-area home for sale at $3.7 million, 10 years after purchasing it.
The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, who played for the Green Bay Packers for 18 seasons, purchased the 10,529-square-foot single-family home for $1.73 million in 2015, according to the Homes.com listing. It’s only 7 miles and a 10-minute drive from his former team’s stadium, Lambeau Field.
The Hobart home at 1250 Thayer Trail has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and an orange and blue basketball court in the back, a color scheme reminiscent of the Packers’ archrivals, the Chicago Bears. The 5.32 acres also feature a tennis and pickleball court, greenhouse and fire pit.
The property has been updated since 2015, unfurnished listing photos show. The kitchen includes two islands, a brick fireplace and an eat-in dining space with a butler’s pantry. The home also has an elevator, office, large walk-in closets and hand-hewn hickory floors. There's a theater, a wet bar, a fitness area, and a billiard room, too.
Listing agent Daniel Posey of Coldwell Banker did not respond to requests for comment.
Rodgers purchased a four-bedroom home in Suamico, Wisconsin, in 2005 for $442,500, which he then sold in 2017 for a $17,600 loss, according to Homes.com. Posey was also listed as the agent.
Although Rodgers purchased 1250 Thayer through a limited liability company, or LLC, a common move for high-caliber buyers who want to shield their identities, the address of 1250 Thayer is listed on Rodgers’ publicly available Wisconsin voter registration. The treasurer for Rodgers’ charitable foundation is also listed as the manager of the LLC.
Rodgers was traded to the New York Jets in 2023 before signing with the Steelers in 2025, but seemingly held on to his Green Bay roots, which began when the Packers drafted him in 2005.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette earlier reported the listing.
The median single-family sale price in Hobart is $533,000, according to Homes.com data.
