Be aware that there are six steps up into the unit, plus a couple of rather heavy doors to pull open, so it’s not great for guests with limited mobility. It sleeps 2 and is located with easy access to Wrigley Field, the bustling Southport shopping corridor, and all of the 'Boystown' nightlife.
This apartment features a full kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, and a tub. You'll find soft, nice sheets, good pillows, a nice mattress, thick towels, and Public Goods bath products. Coffee and a few small extras are provided. This is a vintage Chicago building with quirks: the layout rambles a bit, and there is a hallway radiator situation parked outside of the front door. There is also a radiator in the unit that is passionate and not afraid to express itself. The furnishings were assembled over time and are outside of the bland mess most folks offer up.
Guests staying under 14 days get access to The Metropolitan Club, a members-only co-working and dining space on the 66th and 67th floors of the Willis Tower.
The apartment is in Ravenswood, a peaceful, tree-lined neighborhood with its own vibe. It's tucked into a quiet pocket of the city just a few blocks from Clark Street, where things get lively fast. Walk ten minutes and you’re on the Brown Line train (a super scenic trip that takes you straight into the heart of the city); hop the Clark bus and you’ll be down in Wrigleyville or up in Andersonville before your phone finishes loading the weather. Wrigley Field is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute cab ride.
Street parking is generally available on our block and surrounding ones, except during Cubs games or Wrigley Field events between 5–10pm, when the city enforces a strict towing policy. There is no smoking of any kind in the unit, and there will be an automatic $500 cleaning fee if there is any smoke smell inside of the unit. Quiet hours are from 10PM to 8AM. There is an automatic $100 late check-out charge if you're still in the property 20 minutes after check-out. There is a $45 fee if you lock yourself out or lose your key. [SI]
