This is one of my favorite vintage homes in Franklin because of the uniqueness. 208 Morris Street is an absolutely charming (cicra 1900) home that was moved in the 1920's from Hanson Sawmill in Garden City. It needs some work but the vintage chic characteristics throughout are well worth the time- hardwood floors and ceilings, gorgeous staircase, vintage bathrooms, beautiful trim, crawfoot tub and antique doors. The home was originally built in Garden City in the early 1900s. In the 1920s it was rebuilt at the current location. A few of the ceilings have the hardwood that was originally on the floor when in GC. Upstairs is rumored to have Franklin's first walk-in shower. Located in the historic district right off of Main Street.
