Skiing is an hour or so away at Breckenridge or Monarch Ski Resorts for winter fun. Denver is a couple of hours drive away; Colorado Springs is about 1.5 hours away. The lot is fairly level but it does have a gentle slope toward the east. It is off grid so for utilities a buyer will need to drill a well or install a cistern and have water hauled in for water, install a septic system for sewage control and install a solar system for electricity or run a generator or both. The town of Hartsel has a convenience store for a limited supply of food and gasoline, the Highline Cafe and Saloon and a pizza kitchen for dining out, a gift shop, a fire station, an ambulance service and a post office. River rafting is a short distance further west at Buena Vista. Also, Buena Vista has a City Market grocery store, a pharmacy, an Ace Hardware, a Tractor Supply, numerous restaurants and fly fishing shops.
