The home boasts spectacular details, such as stained glass, pocket doors, a beautiful turned staircase with ornate wood balusters and newel posts, original trim and molding, deep windowsills, original hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and solid wood doors. These timeless details would cost a fortune today, yet here they are waiting for you. Welcoming you is a huge wrap around porch, a must for Ambler living. As you approach the porch, the stained glass rose window and ornate stonework that surrounds it will immediately catch your eye. The original front door is spectacular and opens into a spacious foyer with a view to the jaw dropping staircase. To your right, through a set of pocket doors is the living room. Through the living room is a den with a bay window that is connected to the dining room. The dining room also features a bay bump out with built-in window seat. These rooms offer very high ceilings, tons of oversized windows, and the original hardwood floors (currently covered in the den). The kitchen is beyond the dining room and offers plenty of room for a table and chairs. The laundry is currently housed in the kitchen, but there is plenty of room to move that upstairs and use the 1st floor space for a powder room. Also, there is a large closet on the first floor offering plenty of room for coats, vacuums, and the like. One of the highlights of the home is the absolutely gorgeous turned staircase showcasing 18 individual panes of stained glass that have been expertly restored, truly a work of art. The angles from the roofline give the two bedrooms a lovely shape and detail, without taking away precious headroom. With such an abundance of space and so many bedrooms on the second floor, the third floor would make a fabulous master suite. You could easily have a large bedroom, an incredible bathroom, and an enormous closet. Outside, there is a spacious deck off of the kitchen, perfect for grilling and entertaining. Like most homes in Ambler, the yard is not huge, but it is flat and offers great space to relax, play, and garden. The driveway offers parking for two cars and there is always plenty of street parking for guests. While 350 Euclid offers incredible character and solid construction, the home needs work and updating.
