Tropical Sands Resort is centrally located near many tourist attractions including the beach, great restaurants, the Thomas Edison Home, spring training for major league baseball, Bowditch Point Park, Lynn Hall Memorial Park, Mound House, Mound Key Archaeological State Park, Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve, Ostego Bay Foundation Marine Science Center, and Wonder Gardens. The beach is located one and a half blocks away through a public path across Estero Blvd from the resort.
The front office is open Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time. Pool hours are from 9:00 am to 10:00pm, and gym hours are 9:00 am to 4:30pm. Although pets are loved, none are allowed. Smoking and parties are not allowed. There is potential for noise. Daily maid service is not provided; however, if staying for longer than one week, the Housekeeping Staff will provide a stay-over cleaning service. Weekly room cleanings are conducted on Saturdays.
