My husband and I are looking to purchase our first home in Kansas City MO, he has a score of 660 and mine is 640, do we qualify for a FHA loan?

I currently have 3 accounts in collections and my husband has 1 account. Does that hurt us? We do have several accounts is good standing also.

Having been in real estate for 21 years, I have numerous mortgage lenders with so many loan programs to assist you...be it a first time home buyer loan, a no money down program, a fixer-upper loan program. Give me a call or text at (816-200-4177). Can't wait to visit with you! Kris Rezac

Yes based off of your credit scores you will. Depends what types of items that are in collection. We would need to get them removed first. We can get you setup with a local credit repair company that can assist you in getting those removed so that you can move forward with your new home search. If you make less than $75,000.00 a year you may qualify for the MHDC grant money in MIssouri. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your new home search. Thank you Michael Diggs Realty Executives
