Boulder County property taxes are very cheap compared to most the country. This would be an annual amount. If your searching for $2,000,000 - $4,000,000 valued property then this would be an accurate yearly tax. Hope this helps! Can you give me an example of where you're seeing a monthly tax figure in the $1,000s range? That can't be right.
Those taxes are not monthly. 1,000 to 4,000 is a good YEARLY estimate of taxes in Boulder County...unless you are buying a 10,000 sq ft home!

No, Taxes in Boulder county are actually really reasonable compared to other states. I usually estimate it to be around 1% of the property value, but usually lower although I've seen a few higher when they are accessed high. It's pretty comparable to the surrounding counties.
