Why does it show the square footage of my house at 1310 sq ft.my downstairs wasnt included. An additional 533sq ft finished?
My house is a bi level home totally finished. My upstairs is 1310 sq ft but my finished family room and bathroom down stairs is not included in the estimate of square footage. This does not include my 2 car garage which is also attached to the house. My house is on a slab and has no basement.

I would contact your realtor and ask them about this. If the home is not for sale, it is old information from some where and will be corrected when updated information gets out there. In reference to your garage, that is not included in the square footage of the home. Some states look for heated areas to count others look at air conditioned square footage.
Assuming you are referring to the multiple listing service and your property is currently listed by a broker, please direct this question to the broker on your listing conract. Your agent measures the square footage of home typically at listing appointment.
