what issues may arise from a property line running through an existing pond on an adjacent piece of property?

I am looking at some property currently in foreclosure. according to the survey, the property line runs through a section of a pond. do I have access to this portion of the pond? what issues could arise from this?

it is no different as if it ran through a large mud hole. what is on your half is yours and whats on the other side is someone else's.
