Absolutely Yes!!! My mother's rental apartment needed a total make over, and the first thing I did was to have the entire apartment painted including the inside of all the kitchen drawers, closets cupboards and even changed all the kitchen door knobs.

If the rest of the house was not in need of painting, yes, it makes sense to look into the other things that may attract a buyer's attention. Buyers that are interested in a property usually look inside the drawers and closets before making an offer. Lack of paint will not deter most from making an offer but would just serve to confirm their buy decision to find the seller has gone the extra mile..

Why cut corners? Unless you have the only home in the area for sale, buyers are actually looking to make a short list of homes they will consider to buy. Do everything you can (with your agent's blessing) to stay in the running.

Hi , I would say yes it is really worth painting and cleaning inside cupboards and drawers before selling a house. It is the little things that the buyers will notice. Good Luck.

My opinion is that it may be beneficial to put liner in the bottom of cupboards and drawers. Also, I believe it is wise to paint inside closets if the surface wear and tear is making the closets look unattractive.
