Britt Nieto moved to Long Island City 10 years ago making him a firsthand witness to the growth and change that have taken place over the last decade.

His foray into real estate was motivated not only by the plethora of opportunity, but also by the way Long Island City reminded him of Austin, Texas, where he spent his early adulthood. Like LIC, Austin was an almost secret enclave, and to know it was to love it. Long Island City was the first neighborhood in New York where Britt could picture planting roots and creating a life.

After 12 years of experience as a Legal Systems Analyst and a Senior Operations Executive in New York City, Britt felt compelled to take his robust business experience and begin a career in real estate. As a founding agent at Modern Spaces, Britt quickly gained traction by utilizing the sophisticated resources of Modern Spaces, and by his own personal affinity for the neighborhood.

Britt’s extensive knowledge of current real estate market trends, combined with his local expertise make him a compassionate and competent guide to what would otherwise be a daunting process. He does this by offering sound financial expertise, solid market knowledge, and honest advice, making him a leading agent and trusted professional in LIC and all of New York City.

Currently, Britt serves as the Managing Director and Associate Broker at Modern Spaces Real Estate, representing both buyers and sellers across the beautiful neighborhoods of NYC.

In addition to being a resident and an agent, he is also the co-owner of LEDO - The Art of the Barber; a lifestyle barbershop, the first of its kind in the neighborhood. When he isn’t showing apartments, you will likely spot him overseeing operations at LEDO, or enjoying meals in his favorite restaurants.
