If you're looking for a home in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Cory is your man. My fiance and I had never owned a home and were totally new to the whole process. Cory was patient with us and gave us insight into each home we saw that went above and beyond what was listed (the build quality, the appliances, the different maintenance concerns). He clearly knows his stuff. He is also well connected with lenders, inspectors, real estate attorneys, and other realtors and able to provide resources for each. This was our first time buying a home. Needless to say we found ourselves in good hands. We used the VA loan and it was great to have Cory not only knowledgeable in that process but supporting us in our small window of opportunity. We looked at several houses and he was always truthful and honest. His inspectors did an amazing job as well. We found something that fit our budget and met almost all our needs. We did not need to renew our apartment lease and closed in the nick of time. I’ll be the first to admit I was always concerned as many have heard horror stories about realtors. Cory provided us with an app, that catered to our needs in search, offered to go in person to the homes, we couldn't, and set up excellent appointments for the final picks. As a result we were able to find our home on the first weekend, that we traveled to IL, which was a tremendous time and money saving in itself!

We had very specific requirements regarding what kind of home we needed, including which direction our house was facing. Cory took all of our needs into consideration, even previewing homes for us to ensure it was a good fit for our family. He took the time make sure that he explained every single aspect of the home buying process to us, even though we were already somewhat familiar with it, all in an effort to ensure that we understood all of our options and the timing of everything. He also did a full comparative market analyses for us on the homes we were interested in pursuing to ensure that we fully understood the pricing approach. It wasn’t a easy process by any means with putting in offers on multiple different homes and tough negotiations, but Cory was by our side the entire time to ensure we were comfortable with everything and he saw everything through to the end. When I first met Cory at an open house walkthrough, I was determined to find and buy a home on my own without the use of a “pushy realtor”. However, Cory’s easygoing personality and knowledge of the market and resources made me realize that having an ally in my corner in this process might not be such a bad idea.
