I am a real estate fanatic. Anything and everything about real estate, I love. I'm most enthusiastic in working with buyers. In a world where everyone is chasing the listing of the seller and after years of trying to teach hard pressed Seller's Listing agents of how important the "Buyers and/or Renters" are to the marketplace, I've decided to become an "Exclusive Buyer's Broker", working only for the best interest of Buyers. However, some exceptions apply (family and friend referrals, repeat business or different market areas), in those cases, I will not work both sides, as it has always been a hard sale to me of how practical is it for Realtors to not cross that fine line of "conflict of interest"and perceived fiduciary responsibilities. "You wouldn't want your attorney working for both sides, so why would you want your Broker working for both sides." In my work experience, I've bought and sold in the past 23 years, over 200 plus homes as investment properties, built more than 30 homes and have been the broker on as many homes combined on either side of the transaction. Before launching my own office, I was the executive manager of a very popular real estate office in Queens, NY. Both as a manager and Broker/Owner, I have trained agents to be more productive with practical hands on instruction and mere "LISTEN to the needs of the client" as their #1 goal. If you are tired of working against your 'Best Interest' with traditional real estate agents, whether it be the listing agent (Who surely has loyalty to the seller) and the other non-buyer's agents (Sub-agents of the seller, and have the same loyalty), Give me a call and I will work diligently for YOU and ONLY YOU! The sad truth is, most buyers don't realize even after they sign the agency disclosure (state mandated form requiring agents to notify the party as to who they are ACTUALLY working for), that they are in fact working with a broker/agent who has to straddle the fence to avoid a conflict in an almost impossible situation of working day-to-day with a buyer closely, but owing the seller certain loyalty and responsibilities.
