If you need a real estate agent to purchase or sell a home in the Germantown and Memphis area, Jim Hood is the only agent to call. Jim found our home in two days and finalized the sale with the owner before we knew it. Our experience with Jim has been absolutely amazing from his finding our home to diligently helping us through the mortgage loan and closing processes. Jim is a long time resident of Germantown, and there is no one that knows the area and the real estate market any better than Jim Hood. I forgot to mention that he is the best real estate salesman in our town, and you will be glad you gave him your business.
I really mean that!

“THERE IS NO TRUER STATEMENT THAN JIM’S CATCH PHRASE......CALL HOOD AND HE'LL COME A'RUNNIN!” My husband and I first met Jim at an Open House of a home I had been viewing online. At that time, we were strongly considering listing our home and moving to a more desired area of town. At this particular open house, I immediately knew Jim was definitely the agent we needed to work with on our home sale and purchase. He was consistently looking at ways to improve the viewing of this home (such as blowing off sidewalks, changing light bulbs, positioning furniture, etc.). We immediately set an appointment with Jim to visit our home and to list it right away. Our experience of selling our home with Jim exceeded our expectations. We listed our home in early November and had a bound contract by early January (less than 2 months with 3 holidays included) for a price we anticipated. Jim negotiated all the buyer's repair requests, as well as arranged and even oversaw the contractors. This was a huge relief when dealing with our personal hectic workloads. In buying our new home, Jim found us our dream. Our new home has all the charm and features we were hoping to find. Jim was phenomenal in negotiating our bid and repairs. We anticipated paying $15k more than we did for this home. Throughout the entire process, I can think of only one time I ever left Jim a message (and he returned the call in under five minutes)… and that was when he was tied up with other Clients. He always returned communications the same day. If we ever needed anything at all, Jim was literally right there within a half an hour.
