Karen is a licensed real estate salesperson and has had her real estate license since 2008. She is a detective at heart. She loves the challenge of finding the perfect home for her clients. She sees it as putting a puzzle together, solving a problem, and researching all the different parameters to bring everything together to match her client with their new home. When that combination happens, it is such a rewarding feeling.
Karen has been married to Steve for 36 years and they have four kids and four grandchildren. Steve is the Pastor of Newbreak Church which Steve and Karen started out of their home in Ocean Beach before eventually moving the church to Pacific Beach. Karen was the Pacific Beach Campus Director at Newbreak Church which included her work as the Life Group Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, Weekend Service Coordinator, Office Manager, and Events Coordinator. Karen has also worked at OB Elementary working with new student registration, overseeing awards ceremonies and assisting in the health office. Karen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and going to the beach. She also likes to cook, host get-togethers, work in her garden and bike, walk, and swim for exercise. Karen has a multitude of talents, and we feel blessed to have her join Compass. She is an amazing addition to our team.
