Bright Horizons Realty was incorporated in the state of New York in 1985.
Katherine A. Pontone, GRI, SRES, e-PRO. is the principal Broker/owner and works full time managing the office at 2219 Voorhies Avenue, Brooklyn. The company is a member of the Brooklyn Board of Realtors, and the BNYMLS.  In 1997 Bright Horizons Realty became a member of the Staten Island Board of Realtors and MLS.  

At Bright Horizons Realty the staff concentrates on Personal, Professional and Exceptional Service and serves both Brooklyn and Staten Island.   Each of the 18 agents belongs to the National Association of Realtors and abides by its strict code of ethics. They attend educational seminars and bring the knowledge back to their customers and clients.  Explaining facts to the public is important to them but equally important is their desire to listen to the consumers’ needs.

Two full time receptionists staff the office.  This insures that anyone who calls the office between the hours of 10 AM and 6 PM Mondays through Fridays will be speaking to a real person and not a machine.  On Saturdays and Sundays the office is staffed between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM.  Each receptionist is knowledgeable on all listings and will contact the appropriate agent when questions arise.  All agents have cell phones and tablets and are available even if they are not physically in the office. 

Bright Horizons Realty is a HUD certified broker and sells HUD foreclosures.  
Katherine A. Pontone, GRI, SRES, e-PRO  is presently a director of the Brooklyn New York Multiple Listing Service, past President of the Brooklyn Board of REALTORS, is chairperson of the Professional standards Committee for the Brooklyn Board of REALTORS and was Chairperson of the New York Association of REALTORS Professional Standards Committee in 2007 . She completed studies to become an Insurance Broker and has been licensed by the state of New York to sell Property and Casualty Insurance since 2001.  This adds a new dimension to the in house services of Bright Horizons Realty.
