Melanie Ransford

Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, Melanie Ransford has a unique perspective and depth of knowledge of the South Bay. She feels fortunate to live and work in one of the most vibrant communities in the country. Melanie has 20+ years of success in client service and deal negotiation. She is dedicated to looking at each decision from her client’s perspective to provide them with the best possible experience and complete discretion. As a leader and accomplished entrepreneur, she pays close attention to detail while keeping focused on her client’s desired end-result. She believes success comes from surrounding ourselves with smart, savvy people who partner with us to achieve our goals.

Melanie graduated from USC with a degree in Public Policy & Management, with a focus on city planning and the effects of micro-community on planning and development. She went on to broker large Property & Casualty insurance accounts focusing on multi-unit habitational accounts across the country. She successfully started her own brokerage twice and sold them at their peak. As an active member of the community, Melanie volunteers regularly at MBMS and Manhattan Beach grade schools, is often team mom for her kid’s sports teams, an art docent for Young at Art, and sits on the board of USC Kappa Kappa Gamma.
