GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

While attending Danville High School, the educational aspect of the school sucked, not in the sense that I never learned anything, but some of the teachers there were lackluster to say the least. Otherwise, when the teachers were doing their jobs right, everything was for the most part peaceful and rather enjoyable sometimes.

My overall experience at Danville High has been great. We have great teachers and great education. I am thankful that I was able to attend a school in a smaller community.

Danville High School has very little prep for college or any form of real-world learning, underfunded extracurricular activities, and loads of bullying against students who are outside the norm, both from other students and staff. I was a student with somewhat invisible learning disabilities, and th...

I am a current student of Danville High school. If you are considering sending your child to this school I would strongly suggest you do not. Many of the administrators show bias towards students and are extremely disrespectful to parents with complaints. The arts program is beyond underfunded and t...

Worst school I've ever been to, I finally had to leave and continue my education through home school where I'm getting a far better education. Yes, home school is harder than Danville! You also notice that all the good reviews are from people who enjoy sports and that's quite pathetic but by all mea...
