Marfa has great athletic facilities and a few great coaches but sometimes lack family involvements . I did play varsity sports and was considered a team leader and we as a team stuck together . Sometimes our coaches tried to make it harder on us or tried to make us examples but other than that I enjoyed my playing time.

The teachers and staff were very helpful . They all tried to make a school which is poor and still provide great learning possibilities. I would be considered a minorities in a 90% Hispanic community but was still a leader in school and athletics.
