The staff works very hard to encourage acceptance, despite the cliquey tendencies of middle school aged children. There is great diversity.

There are an abundance of after school activities easily available to students, ranging from social clubs, to academic organizations, to student activist groups. Teachers are very willing to work with students. If a certain area of interest is not already represented by existing organizations it is very easy for students to form a new one.

Tejeda Middle School is very conscious of its students safety, as well as their physical, emotional, and educational needs. The staff works very hard to accommodate and thoroughly educate all of their students. There are many athletic and extracurricular activities, including student anti bullying organizations. The staff and student body is generally very happy.

I don't remember much from 6th or 7th grade but every single one of my teachers in 8th grade was great. My grades in all my classes shot up much higher than they were in previous years. However, the vice principle at the time was unreasonably strict and universally hated by all students. She semmed...
