I absolutely adore my school. There is so much culture within its walls and the different teachings styles of each individual teacher is like a breath of fresh air. There's a wide variety of courses and extracurriculars, plus options like AP courses and dual enrollment classes.

My overall experience at Sequoyah High School has been fun and very educational. I have made a lot of friends and I love my teachers. Their top priority is for me to learn and be successful. I have had some teachers who don't teach, but the ones who do outweigh the ones who don't. If I could change one thing about my school, it would be to get the few teachers that don't teach to teach. I think by them doing this it will improve the school in many ways, including preparing the students for college.

My senior year has been full of mishaps and mis-steps for the school board and the school administration. Specifically, there was a fentanyl incident at the school which prompted to school board to terminate 1/2 of the administration and 1/2 the teaching staff over the summer. The first month of school could best be described as chaotic and disruptive to learning. Prior to this year, I would have rated the school 4.5 stars.

I can not describe in words how bad this school is, not only does cover up bullying but even with the highest gpa you can get here you will still be very unprepared for any college you can get into, nearly all the students here are addicted to something, there is no room on the bus's kid have to sit...

Horrible. This is the worst school I have ever been to. They do nothing to help their students. Drug abuse and dealing happens, students are not free to express themselves unless they agree with Christian values despite it being a public school. And they do not enforce equal treatment of students by...

I would not recommend a parent send their child to this School. The Students are definitely not prepared for entrance to college. When a Valedictorian of any school has trouble with college classes in Math, there are major problems with the High School they just graduated from!
