Capistrano Park is a Lower Valley neighborhood in El Paso where its Spanish influence weaves through everything, from the architecture to restaurants and grocery stores. Most residents rent apartments in the community, while single-family homes make up roughly a quarter of its housing stock. The neighborhood sits right by Texas 375 Loop, which circles around the city and connects to other thoroughfares such as Interstate 10 and U.S. Routes 54 and 62. People can walk 8 miles along the Ysleta-Zaragoza International Bridge and arrive in Ciudad Juárez across the border. Sun Metro buses run through the community and provide public transportation to the University Medical Center Ysleta and the El Paso International Airport.
