Three soil types are found on the property:
Houlka Silty Clay (Ho) site index for cherry bark oak is 105 feet
Kipling Silty Clay (KpA) site index 90 for loblolly pine and cherrybark
Mayhew Silt Loam 0-2% slope (MeA) loblolly site index 90

All three of the soils are well suited for timber production and are rated highly for wildlife habitat.

Access is via a permanent easement that leads out of the northwest corner of the tract. there is also a timber company road that touches the south west corner of the property.
