The Charles Apartments located in the heart of downtown Marshfield was once known as a luxury hotel back in its day. Some of the famous and infamous guests who stayed at the former Hotel Charles were Patsy Cline, Jackie Onassis, President John F. Kennedy, The Cast of Gun Smoke, and mob gangster John Dillinger, and many more!

Even though this building is no longer a luxury hotel, it certainly maintains its historic character and charm! Tall ceilings, original woodwork, beautiful architecture - if only the walls could talk!

The building has a locked entrance, shared coin operated washers and dryers, and each apartment includes ALL utilities such as water, sewer, heat, electric, and a/c! There is a city parking lot behind the building for the convenience for each tenant and their guests.
