About This Home

Built in the late 1920's by an oil tycoon, no expense was spared in this classic full log masterpiece built from the forests of northern Michigan. It's history began as our nation plunged into The Great Depression but the titans of industry were engaged in an unspoken contest to see who could build the most spectacular AuSable Lodge. Many of those have long since fallen, but Rayburn remains. Moved to its current location in the in the early 1990's and painstakingly restored by it's previous owner, the lodge is ready for the next sporting family to take the reigns.
