The loft bathroom mirror frames are reclaimed original window frames from the Peacock Hotel, as well as the bathroom vanities and kitchen islands are made from reclaimed wood from the building. All vanity tops and island tops are concrete. The stairwell nostalgic pieces are from the Gordon County Historic Society and are framed by original building window frames. The window wood trim and other wood accents were burned and then coated to preserve the look of the fire that struck the building in the 1950’s. A beautiful but functional kitchen includes quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, custom built soft close cabinets, pot filler over stove, and farmhouse stainless steel sinks. Laundry room includes full size front loading washer and dryer. A sprinkler system for fire suppression was added throughout the building. The original boarding house/hotel room placards with their original room numbers were reclaimed and now decorate the stairwell leading up to the lofts. All tenants will remain in their spaces until the end of their respective lease contracts.
