The food plot was drilled with a diverse fall food plot mix consisting of winter oats, wheat, rye, peas, radish, and crimson clover. The plot was drilled on 9/1/2025. The area is in a dry spell so with some rain the food plot will be gorgeous. This plot mix is ideal for all seasons archery into the gun seasons.

North of the crescent moon hay field is a 1.25 bottom food plot. This plot was drilled the same day as the north plot with the same mix with added white clover. The white clover will make this plot shine on this bottom soil type. Another great spot for early and mid archery seasons and sometimes into the gun seasons!

The west side of the farm has an acre field that would be an ideal food plot. The field has timber surrounding the plot, a stocked pond to the east, and a blind at the entrance of the potential plot.

Along the south west corner of the fields is another gate to the road with a shed. The shed would be useful for parking a vehicle out of the sun under the lean too and storing hunting gear, tools, and small equipment inside. This shed sits on just under an acre field. This spot would be ideal for building a home or a hunting cabin.

The west side of the property consists of a diverse timber. The timber connects too all the food plots and along the property line. The timber consists of black walnuts, oaks, hickories, elm, basswood, and hackberries. This timber tracts offers excellent hunting opportunities for multiple different winds. This draw is also adorned with massive wolf oaks. Wolf oaks describe massive oak trees with broad trunks and wild canopies. These wolf oaks are Iowas native Bur Oaks. These massive bur oaks are priceless for their wildlife value in providing acorns for all wildlife. These bur oaks provide a future opportunity for more bur oak propagation also their massive canopies offer perfect roosting for turkeys.
