Newly renovated farmhouse from 1890 has a large yard with some lawn furniture, and plenty of off-street parking. Upstairs are two bedrooms. The larger one has a walk-in closet and a queen sized bed as well as a dresser and desk for studying/working. High speed internet is included. The smaller bedroom has a twin bed, small desk and a dresser. Both rooms have window unit air conditioners. Downstairs is a furnished living room and kitchenette including a full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, air fryer and burners (just no oven). Dishes and pots and pans and utensils provided. There is also a sun room that could be used for yoga, workouts, as an art studio or just for hanging out. As it's fully enclosed it could also be a great place to store a bike, or other things you don't want in your bedrooms. There is also an enclosed porch that isn't locked, but is a great place to hang out or use as a mud room. The house is on a dead end street close to the bus line and 15 minutes from UCONN Storrs and 5 minutes from Eastern Connecticut State University campus and the hospital. The local town Recreation Center offers a full gym, pool and indoor basketball courts for just $10 per month if you live in town (even temporarily). The owner lives at the back of the building with a separate entrance, so you can make requests for any maintenance issues or changes in furnishing easily. Couples could request that the smaller bedroom be made into an office. 10 month leases are available if you are a student at one of the local universities and will be away for the summer. Individual rooms can also be rented at this time if you need a place short term and prefer to just rent a room. Please request communication with the owner if you prefer to rent a room instead.
