About Homestead Oaks Apartments
Homestead Oaks is our newest affordable community in Southwest Austin. Homestead Oaks Apartments is on 29-acres located at 3226 W. Slaughter Lane near the intersection of Brodie Lane. Homestead Oaks opened in 2016. It’s a beautiful property that used to be a family farm with more than 500 oak trees. The park-like setting is being preserved. There is also an on-site Community Learning Center. Homestead Oaks has been designed to push the envelope on green standards for affordable housing, resulting in lower utility bills for our residents and lower operating costs for us. In keeping with our mission to provide housing plus support services to enhance the lives of residents, Homestead Oaks features after-school and summer learning programs for children, as well as adult education classes.
