The beautiful open concept space includes a large chef’s kitchen and desk nook, both of which open to separate balconies overlooking the mountains and valley. Downstairs, the three bedrooms share a large bathroom, while the primary opens to a beautiful sunroom with its own Morso high efficiency wood stove. To generate additional heat and grow food all year round, a large attached south facing greenhouse overlooks the outdoor gardens, and generates heat year round. Nestled inside the greenhouse is a 6” diameter wood fired hot tub, with the additional green feature of draining into a 400 gallon cistern to water the gardens. Ample, terraced gardens below the home include 5 heirloom apple trees, while the greenhouse grows frost sensitive plants year round without any supplemental heat: rosemary, citrus, avocados, tomatoes.
