We purchased 642 Classon with the intention of renovating it for ourselves, but the pandemic, work, and a growing family slowed the process down. We're now happily ensconced since we relocated and have decided to stay instead of building our dream home in Crown Heights. We also purchased the 20" wide lot on the north side of the building which runs the length of the full 100 lot (it's separately deeded) and are offering the two parcels together. Please note that 5 inches of the 20 inch parcel fall within the confines of the north wall of the building. Please also note that the north wall of the building (the side that runs along the staircases) has structural issues that will need to be addressed first. The wall needs to be stabilized or rebuilt before other repairs or changes can be made to the property. We were aware of the issue when we purchased the building but didn't move forward with repairs prior to selling because we did not want to limit a potential buyer's options to utilize the alley to expand the building if they desired to.
