Cascade District Lofts

The Cascade District Loft Apartments sit along the western edge of downtown Rochester in an area once defined by industry. Throughout the 19th and early 20th centuries, the neighborhood was a bustling manufacturing hub filled with factories and warehouses.

In the late 1990s, these historic structures underwent a significant transformation, converting the former industrial buildings into loft-style offices and residential spaces.

As of 2025, the property is entering another major phase of redevelopment. Plans include adding new residential units, upgrading commercial spaces, installing modern elevators, and introducing a range of new amenities such as a fitness center and community gathering areas.

Despite these updates, the buildings retain their distinctive industrial character, featuring exposed brick, soaring ceilings, expansive windows, and open floor plans that highlight their historic roots.
