It measures 12'x12' with a spacious sleeping loft which measures 12'x5' to allow room for a double bed. Off grid and built for the simple life out of tongue and groove knotty pine which provides its beautiful interior walls. The floor is 3/4 inch exterior grade plywood, painted and sealed. Durapon metal roofing was used and it has a 30 year warranty.

Lovely walking trails take you through your own tropical rainforest, naturally landscaped with numerous native species which include the vining 'Ie'Ie, Hapu'u Ferns and the majestic Ohia Lehua trees to name a few. With a 1/4 acre there is plenty of room for planting your heart's desire or expansion. Anthuriums thrive here along with many other plants!

There are no permits on the cabin so Cash Only. The front pins are marked. There is no water or electricity for this starter cabin but it is ready for your personal touches and customizing. This is living off grid where solar systems, generators, composting toilets and outdoor showers/hot tubs are common using rain catchment and on demand propane water heaters serve the needs as desired.

Located between Keaau and Volcano this is a peaceful little neighborhood where residents know each other, pride of ownership is evident and access is monitored. Hilo Town Farmers Market and area beaches are about 30 minutes away. The Volcano Village Sunday Market and the Volcanoes National Park are about 15 minutes away.
