Furnished appliances are: gas range with self cleaning oven, microwave hood combo, dishwasher, refrigerator, clothes washer and clothes dryer. The 2 bedrooms are carpeted. The entryway, utility room and kitchen have vinyl flooring. The rest of the house has hardwood floors. There is an 8 by 12 foot stick built storage shed at the top of the driveway.This IS mountain living, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Wildlife abounds: deer, an occasional bear, fox, hummingbirds, songbirds and woodpeckers. The wooded areas have native wildflowers: Trillium, wild orchids ,wild geraniums and jack in the pulpits. The driveway is approximately 400 yards from a cul de sac at the end of Luchase Road. The traffic is very sparse from the several private residents, the mail carrier, an occasional UPS or FedX delivery and sometimes someone who is lost and looking for a road in Skyland Estates or on Blue Mountain. Frequently there are other residents of Skyland Estates who stroll to the end of the road, up and down the gentle grades. Luchase Road is the second road plowed in the winter after the entrance to Skyland Estates. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to interstate 66 at exit 13 (Linden) and about 10 minutes to drive to exit 18 (Markham). The summer temperatures on Luchase Road are usually 10 degrees cooler than at route 55 in Linden or in Front Royal.
