ArtLofts is a purpose-built work/live development created by
artists for artists. One resident per household is required to be a
working artist or a student who is also a working artist and must be approved
by the City of Laguna Beach Arts Commission and receive an Artists Occupancy
Permit. All individuals whose primary occupation includes one of the
following qualify:
Visual (painting, drawing, sculpture, book arts, printmaking
& mixed media),Imaginative (literature, poetry, photography, music
composition, choreography, cinematography & computer arts),
Functional (metal, textiles, paper, wood, ceramics, glass,
and/or plastic objects),
Performing (singers, dancers, musicians, actors, performance
artists; costume, lighting, sound & set designers)Combine multiple rents into a dual-purpose art studio and
living space with collaborative work decks joined by open air breezeways and
anchored by a commercial exhibition/sales gallery and multi-media digital
lounge. Ideal for individual established or burgeoning artists on their
own, with roommates or families. These 28 single and two-story industrial
studios offer flexible space for working and living with concrete floors and
open beam ceilings swathed in a lustrous white finish enhanced with high-end
materials in the kitchen and bath. Designed to be in tune with the canyon
setting the signature saw tooth south pitched roofs support the solar array and
create dynamic vaulted ceilings to foster creativity and comfort with natural ambient
lighting from the large clerestory windows. Finished with high end European flat front cabinets covered
in a fingerprint less matte black exterior with soft close hinges and drawer
glides topped with a suede Silestone Et Noir Counter and backsplash.
Boasting A luxury kitchen and bath fixture package from Pfister and appliances
from GE include an electric range with oven, recirculating microwave,
refrigerator/freezer, dish washer and the convenience of vented in unit
