There are several RG6 and CAT5e cables that connect the main rack to the panel as well. There is a very high quality HDMI matrix switcher currently installed that allows the video source to be installed in the theater rack and distributed to each tv location. This eliminates the need to have local equipment like cable and satellite boxes installed at each TV location which also helps to allow the TV to be simply hung on a wall. Most rooms are also wired for sound and have speakers installed in the ceiling. These speakers all run back to the main rack in the theater and are hooked into a large switch that allows multiple sources to be played in various rooms in the house.
