The Presbyterian Community Center provides essential services such as a food pantry and after-school programs, with plans to expand its facilities by 2025. Housing in Fallon ranges from historical Folk Victorian and American Foursquare homes to newer constructions, though some properties remain abandoned. The neighborhood offers views of the iconic Roanoke Star on Mill Mountain. While shops and restaurants are limited, essentials are accessible at nearby stores like Walmart Neighborhood Market and Dollar General. Fallon is about a mile from both Downtown Roanoke and Vinton, with Valley Metro bus service available.
