Dacula is a small community with only around 4,400 residents. It was not until the 1980s that the population for the town reached over 1,000 people. With almost half of all households populated with children, the community is very family-friendly. The town is also a mecca for those who love the outdoors. Little Mulberry and Rabbit Hill Parks are just two of the areas locals love to go with their families and friends when the weather is fine. They can enjoy hiking trails, biking, and other outdoor activities while close to home. Golf clubs are also a popular hallmark of the area. The Fountains of Gwinnett, located in Duluth just a short trip away are also a popular attraction for those who like the outdoors.
