Hunters Run is an entirely residential neighborhood in north Abingdon. Locals can spend their days walking their dogs and waving to neighbors, but the community is still conveniently located despite this quiet setting. “It’s not on a major highway or directly next to a shopping center, but everything you need is 10 minutes away or less,” says Steve Kuzma, a realtor with Weichert Realtors who sold several homes in the area. Just west of Hunters Ridge sits Emmorton Road, a bustling medical thoroughfare, and state Route 24, which eventually connects with Interstate 95 to reach Baltimore. Several shopping centers surround the two streets, including Festival at Bel Air and Harford Mall. Houses built between the 1980s and ‘90s dot Hunters Run’s sidewalk-lined streets, shaded by oak and red maple trees. Colonial Revivals, split levels and New Traditional homes are all common here. Houses typically have three to five bedrooms and garages. Prices tend to be slightly higher than the national median, with houses ranging from around $415,000 to about $700,000. Students can attend Ring Factory Elementary, which earns an A-minus from Niche. They may continue to B-plus-rated Patterson Mill
