Locals of Beverly, Massachusetts, will say that it’s hard to determine where the neighborhood of Montserrat begins and ends. “Montserrat is loosely defined, and the boundaries are still blurry,” says local Realtor and longtime Beverly resident Betsy Woods of Leading Edge Real Estate, adding that Montserrat has long been synonymous with the neighboring Beverly Cove community. “Montserrat hasn’t been considered an established neighborhood until fairly recently.” Still, the Beverly neighborhood has started making a name for itself as a distinct community.
