Why Live in Century Village-Boca Raton
Century Village-Boca Raton, one of four Century Village Real Estate developments in South Florida, is a gated, 55-plus condominium community in central Boca Raton. “It’s very moderately priced, and that’s one of the appealing factors,” says Dale Tyroler, an eXp Realtor with several years of experience working with clients in the area. “It’s also close to Florida’s Turnpike, so it’s easily accessible, and within the community, too. The lifestyle is very active. There’s a lot going on for the residents,” she says. “Century Village is all condos, no single-family homes or villas,” Tyroler says. The 700-acre community has 16 multistory condo buildings and thousands of one- to two-bedroom condo units. Prices start close to $50,000 and go up to about $430,000. The median is about $125,000, well below the state median of $315,000, according to Florida Realtors. “It’s great if you’re looking to downsize to a moderately priced community,” Tyroler says. Flood risk here is low, but wind damage during hurricane season is a concern. Century Village-Boca Raton’s website has information about hurricane prep, including contact information for the Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management.
