Why Live in Brian Head

Brian Head is a resort town in southwestern Utah. The area is known for its skiing and snowboarding slopes and has more than 70 runs. Tubing, ice skating and snowmobile tours are also available. Each summer, Brian Head Resort opens its mountain biking park. People can also visit Cedar Breaks National Monument, around 10 miles south. Residents mainly live in condos and wood cabins, including some luxury properties, and the area has an active short-term rental market. Most shopping and dining is done in Cedar City, about 40 minutes away, where people can try Centro pizzeria and The Pub, know for its tacos. Hermie's Drive In's signature Navajo tacos are served on frybread. Groceries can be picked up at Lin's, Smith's and Natural Grocers. In town, essentials and snacks are found at Apple Annie's Country Store and the Brian Head General Store. Students are zoned for the Iron County School District. The closest private school, Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy, is in Cedar City. St. George is close to a 90-minute drive, and Las Vegas is nearly three hours away.
