Sunny Lane is an established community on Brooklyn Park's southwest corner. Just north of communities like Crystal and New Hope, Sunny Lane is also convenient for shopping, restaurants and public parks. Well-worn sidewalks follow streets lined with oaks and jack pines. Quarter-acre lots and detached garages are typical, as are midcentury housing styles. "You're going to see a lot of those three-bed, one-bath ramblers out there," says Eric Redlinger, an agent with Coldwell Banker Burnet-Fridley. "Anything else is an outlier." Prices for these houses range from the mid-$200,000s to the low $400,000s, depending on renovation and amenities. Two-story townhouses are also popular and typically sell for somewhere in the low to mid-$200,000s. Students generally begin at Oak View Elementary School, which has a B-minus from Niche, before heading to Maple Grove Middle School, which has a B-plus.
