A 136-acre green space with various athletic amenities cuts through the center of Shady Lane. Restaurants line Shady Lane’s borders, and Columbus’ most traveled thoroughfare, Interstate 270, lies on the neighborhood’s east side. “This is a good neighborhood for first-time homebuyers and those who want to start a family,” says Byron Diaz, a Realtor with Nexthome Experience. “You also see that people who move in want to stay for a long time, too.” The neighborhood consists of windy suburban streets lined with single-family homes and sidewalks.
