South Franklinton Home for Sale

South Franklinton is a Columbus, Ohio, neighborhood that is close to downtown and bordered by Interstates 70 and 71. The community, settled on the edge of the Scioto River, contains a mix of apartments and single-family homes. Many of the residential properties are over 100 years old, including two-and-a-half-story farmhouses and renovated American Foursquares. Most homes range from 800 to 1,800 square feet with two to four bedrooms. A large number of residents rent their homes in South Franklin. The Sullivant Gardens Community Center on Renick Street is a hub for local activities. The public space offers a playground, basketball court, weight room, volleyball court and various fitness classes. A mobile produce market visits the center every Thursday from May to November. My Project USA, based in the nearby Hilltop community, delivers after-school programs and career talks. For shopping, residents head to the ALDI on Mound Street; further down the road stands a shopping center with a Tim Horton's and China King. Dodge Park in the adjacent Franklinton neighborhood offers a skatepark, pool and walking trail access.
