Northmoreland is a small neighborhood about 2 miles from Downtown Cuyahoga Falls. “It has a very, very homey feel,” says Realtor Nikki Fanizzi with Re/Max Trends Realty. Part of that atmosphere comes from the houses — older properties on small lots. Another draw is the neighborhood's proximity to downtown and the different events in the city. “There are several festivals and shops on Front Street,” Fanizzi says. The city has several events throughout the year, ranging from free movie nights to the annual Irish festival. There are also many parks surrounding the area. Water Works Park is about 2 miles north and has plenty of outdoor hiking trails and the city’s aquatic center. Sidewalks go along some of the roads in the neighborhood, and sycamore and spruce trees divide the lawns. “Honestly, in that area of town, it’s a lot of small postage-stamp lots,” Fanizzi says. The community is made up of older, mid-20th-century homes like Cape Cods, traditional-style houses and ranch styles. There is also some new construction.
