With nearly 500,000 square feet of space, York Street Yards hosts a vibrant collection of outdoor and indoor events. Each Wednesday, locals can grab lunch from a rotating cast of local food trucks. Residential streets are densely populated as striking Queen Anne builds with rounded, turret-like gables cast shadows over smaller bungalows and cottages. Homebuyers can find three-bedroom Queen Anne homes built in the early 1900s starting at around $625,000 or three-bedroom bungalows with shaded front porches ranging from about $530,000 to $760,000. In the northeast corner of the community, new construction brings a touch of modernity to the streets, with two-bedroom units in the Greenway Townhomes community starting at about $640,000.

Opportunities for outdoor and indoor recreation
Clayton is known for the City of Nairobi Park, an animal-themed green space named after Denver’s sister city. The park has a ballfield and playground where kids can climb on life-sized animal sculptures. Locals also gather at Schafer Park, which features tennis courts, basketball courts and a playground.
