East Syracuse offers highly rated public schools, proximity to downtown and easy access to the local highways, but the main reason houses are selling so quickly here is because there aren’t that many for sale. “There’s super low inventory. Homes are going under contract within a week.” In the Village of East Syracuse, there are a number of wooden clapboard historic foursquare homes built in the early 1900s. Outside the village, there is a wider mix of architecture, ranging from Colonial revival to bungalows to ranch-style, built from the 1960s to the present day.
